Why We Exhibit
In a world where we are increasingly encouraged to focus on what separates us, El Culto chooses to focus on one of humanity's oldest ways of encountering one another: art.
We define art as any means through which the human mind transforms creativity into something that can be perceived by others. Whether through painting, music, film, writing, architecture, or countless other forms of human expression, art allows one person's inner world to become accessible to another.
If art allows us to encounter another human being through what they have created, then exhibiting it becomes more than displaying objects. It becomes an invitation to understanding.
For this reason, exhibiting creative works is central to our philosophy. Every work is an opportunity to encounter another human being through what they have created. By preserving and exhibiting these expressions, we invite people to deepen their understanding of one another and, ultimately, of themselves.
